THE NORTH BAY WATER RECYCLING PROGRAM - PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Phase 1 and Alternatives | Phase 1 Marin County | Phase 1 Sonoma County | Phase 1 Napa County | Three Alternatives
Alternative 2 : Partially Connected System
11,200 ACRE-FEET OF RECYCLED WATER USE:
Adds pipelines and more recycled water storage to Alternative 1, partially
connecting the treatment plants.
Click on Map for enlargementLas Gallinas Valley Sanitary District and Novato sanitary District, in coordination with North Marin Water district, serve:
Additional pipelines would serve agriculture in Sears Point area, additional urban areas of Novato, and the Peacock Gap Golf Course.
Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District serves:
Additional pipelines would serve Southern Sonoma Valley.
Napa Sanitation District serves:
Additional pipelines would serve expanded areas in MST and Carneros East.

- 11,200 acre-feet of recycle water available.
- 139 miles of new pipelines.
- 2,200 acre-feet of storage.
- 3,500 horsepower of new pumping.
- 16 million gallons per day of new treatment capacity.
