Under Phase 1 in Marin County, recycled water will be provided to large landscapes, golf courses, school turf areas and parks. North Marin Water District will supply the water produced by Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District and Novato Sanitary District. The proposed projects are:
NOVATO SOUTH SERVICE AREA. Recycled water will be delivered to the Hamilton Field area via new pipelines, with a pipeline loop to the Coast Guard housing.
NOVATO NORTH SERVICE AREA. Recycled water will be delivered to Fireman's Fund and Valley Memorial Park Cemetery via a new pipeline and pump station.
NOVATO CENTRAL SERVICE AREA. Recycled water will be delivered to urban users west of U.S. 101, potentially to schools and other irrigated playing fields, and to areas south along Redwood Boulevard via new pipelines. An additional pipeline would allow continued service to Stone Tree Golf Course.
